What is a design system, and why does a brand need one?

In Gravita's work a design system is functional. The brand decisions about type, colour, layout and components are built into the files your team works in, instead of sitting in a document. Gravita designs in Figma and builds websites in Webflow from the same system, so a new landing page or product screen starts from parts that are already on brand. Your team can produce new work without reopening those decisions each time. At handover you receive the system and its documentation, so it can be maintained and extended without Gravita.
